The Global Council of Progressive Bangladeshi Physicians (GCPBP) is an international organization of doctors inspired by the spirit of Bangladesh’s Liberation War. Founded on the principles of patriotism, humanity, and social justice, it unites physicians worldwide who uphold the values of independence and progress.
GCPBP’s mission is to honor and preserve the legacy of doctors who served during the Liberation War—those who healed the wounded, aided freedom fighters, and defended the nation’s dignity.
Today, the organization channels that same spirit into action: strengthening healthcare, promoting ethical medical practice, and advocating for equity and human rights, especially for the underserved.
As a global platform for pro-Liberation physicians, GCPBP fosters collaboration, knowledge exchange, and initiatives that advance social progress, scientific excellence, and national pride.
More than a medical organization, GCPBP embodies a continuing moral and national duty—to build a just, humane, and enlightened Bangladesh that fulfills the dreams of 1971.
